Feature and Follow Friday (22)

This is a feature hosted by Para-Junkee and Alison can Read. They have been awesome and this feature allows to meet new book bloggers and book fans spread all over the Land of Internet.

Q:Do your reading habits change based on your mood? Do you read a certain genre if you are feeling depressed or happy?
My reading habits change all the time. Sometimes I get into a Historical Romance mood and sometimes I want bad-ass Urban Fantasy Heroine. I even crave Young Adult and when I have had too much of Teen angst I want sexual tension. ;) Worse I even get reading funks. When I have read many 5 star book one after the other any other average book seems uninteresting.

Does your reading changes with your mood?

I love reading your comments so feel free to chat.

Historical romance can be fun, although it's a long time since I read any. I should get back into it. FF follower via GFC. You can find me at: http://todayinshenaya.blogspot.com

Great answer!!! I love a good historical romance, and it's definitely true....after a couple of really epic reads, sometimes another just falls short. Still in high school so I haven't read any naughty reads though >_<

I'm the same, if I rate something 5 stars, it's so hard to get into an avg book!

I agree with your feelings on too much teen angst--YA novel after YA novel after YA noel makes me want to vomit, and I'm a teenager.

P.S: I'm a new follower! Don't be afraid to fearlessly visit my "Frivolously Follow Me this Friday!" post. Many thanks to you!

Thanks for stopping by (I'm a new follower now)! I tend to agree with you, occassionally when YA gets a little much (read whiny) - it's great to read about about a kickass heroine.

Cool answer. Thanks for stopping by! Followed back. I read a magazine in between books so I don't get in a reading funk.
